Learning To Kite Surf On Skorpion Multi Terrain Skates
What a blast, what a ride! I’ve been learning how to kite surf and i cannot get enough of it. The only major problem where I live is the best place on the beach to kite surf is dependent on the tide; it needs to be high tide to get out on the water, but that aint always convenient and only gives a small window of opportunity, or it did until I found out what some kite surfers in Europe are up to. Check out the following youtube video:
They’re using an off-road quad roller skate that can race them across the hard wet sand on the beach during the low tide. They are Skorpion Multi Terrain Skates with 115mm or 130mm wide tyre mag wheels. What’s cool is you wear your own shoes, just strap them on using adjustable straps. Now I can practice well whenever i want, i don’t even need to be at the beach, they also work just great on the grass wherever i can get my kite up and have some space.
If you’re looking for something a bit different then I’d recommend checking this out. I even took them for a run on a dirt track, without the kite - a couple of heart in mouth moments but what a ride!
